Share your 🇫🇷 France story

We love France ❤️

Living in France is great, but we also deal with frustrating situations that seem pretty unique to this country. These can happen anywhere - at businesses, government offices, or even restaurants - and they're either so absurd you have to laugh or so annoying you want to scream.

When people complain about this stuff online, the common response from some is often, "If you don't like it, leave." However, that is not helpful and does not solve any problems.

This board is a way to collect our stories to identify patterns in service interactions and systemic issues in this country, which often feel different from other parts of the world.

Our hope is that by collecting these stories, France can use them as feedback for the benefit of entrepreneurs, foreigners, and French people.

Lower taxes for startups

If France wants to succeed, especially with the advantages that we have in AI, we need to make it easier and attractive for entrepreneurs to build here. The tax rate of 15% should be increased to the first €250,000 in profit.

"No tip" culture is the best thing in this country

Workers get proper wages, prices are transparent, and there's zero awkwardness at checkout. As it should be.

More Baguette vending machines please

baguette vending machines are popping up across the country, especially in rural areas where the nearest bakery might be miles away.
